David Wilford brings over a decade of financial services experience as a general counsel and chief compliance officer specializing in electronic payments, prepaid, and regulatory compliance. In his positions, David has led legal and operational functions for start-ups, Fortune 500 publicly listed companies, and multi-billion dollar privately held companies. David’s experience involves resolving complex cross-border payments and business issues in jurisdictions around the world, including the United States where he ensures compliance with the requirements of federal financial services regulators such as FinCEN, the CFPB, and the OCC; state money transmitter regulators; nationally charted issuing banks; acquiring banks and processors; and third-party payment providers. As Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, David is dedicated to ensuring that Global Primex maintains its hard-earned reputation for best-in-class anti-money laundering, know-your-customer, product compliance, and merchant due diligence processes.
